Daffodils and Sunshine!

Emmy loves picking flowers. Luckily we have a few in our yard - at least until she picks them all!

Harmonica Solo

Emmy is a musical genius! Here is her latest musical solo.
P.S. for those of you who actually read and follow our blog enjoy the many posts now because once baby Caleb comes it might be awhile, until then enjoy!

Hanging tight...

So, in my mind I thought baby Caleb would be here by now BUT I am not in control (thankfully) and God has other plans. So to keep busy Emmy and I have spent a lot of time outside. Fortunately the weather has been amazing! Here are a few pictures from our outdoor adventures!
This is what I am looking like these days!
We walked to the grocery store and bough yogurt pops. Emmy was in love. Below is the before picture and above is After. We jumped in the tub as soon as we got home!

Chillin' in her shades!
Lots of time at the park

Train Ride with Daddy

Saturday we had some family time. We took Emmy to the mall the ride the train! She was so excited and loved every minute of it. I don't think I was able to capture the excitement but you get the idea.

SMILES!

Emily has learned how to smile when asked. It's really fun for me when I want to take a picture 'cause she can smile when I say cheese or smile - and she is so stinkin' cute! So here are a few snap shots of prompted and candid smiles from my munchkin.

Silent Tantrum's

Some of you have heard us mention Emmy's "silent tantrums". They are a silent display of things not going as she would like them to. We are currently trying to figure out how to handle these tantrums so that we don't encourage this behavior, however when comparing a silent tantrum to one with more vigor and audio, it poses the question "Should we encourage this behavior?" So take a peek at a snip of one of said tantrums!

Super Bowl XLVI

After one week of mourning the "not-so-super" Super Bowl, I decided I was ready to post a few pictures. Despite the outcome of the game, we had a fun time with a few of our friends, some YUMMY food, and a cute cheerleader (pictured below!). Now we look ahead to next year! GO PATRIOTS!

(this is a random picture of Emmy glued to the computer watching Shirley Temple and Bojangles Robinson dance!)
